Whether you’re journeying to work, college or school, or visiting the city for any other reason, Access Lincoln’s new online travel planner can find the best way to get you there.
The free online travel planner will explain your options and the benefits you can enjoy by leaving the car at home and using alternative transport.
Simply provide your starting point, destination and time of travel and you’ll be emailed a free personalised plan complete with interactive maps and information on travel times, cost, carbon dioxide emissions and calories burned for all modes of travel.
Alternatively, you can visit our brand new Access Lincoln Hub, which is located at the Lincoln BIG offices at St Swithins House, 3-5 St Swithins Square, Lincoln LN2 1HA, and speak to the team face-to-face. Simply email firstname.lastname@example.org or call 01522 581906 to make an appointment.
As an added incentive, anyone completing a travel plan before the end of October will be able to collect a free LED safety light from the Access Lincoln Hub and will automatically be entered into a prize draw with a chance of winning a Fitbit.
Cllr Clio Perraton-Williams, Executive Support Councillor for Highways and Transport, said:
“Taking the bus, cycling or walking can often be the quickest, easiest and cheapest option for getting where you need to go.
“And it’s not only healthier than being sat in the car – it’s better for the environment too.
“Our travel planner will put together a tailored, step-by-step plan for your journey – and it’s free of charge.
“It also lets you know about the many great offers that are out there, such as the new Access Lincoln bus pass, which could save you even more.
“It will only take you a few minutes, and will likely save you time and money – it’s a win-win.”
