Light the Night cancelled due to weather warning

Unfortunately, with potential winds of 40 mph and a yellow weather warning issued, we have had to cancel this event.

Enjoy a night-time bike ride with a difference and see the city in a spectacular new light!

On Friday 25 October, Access Lincoln is inviting people to join them for ‘Light the Night’, a special bike ride coinciding with the Frequency Festival’s ‘Digital After Dusk’ event.

Cyclists are encouraged to decorate their bikes with lots of lights before taking a short tour of the city, passing some of the light displays and other activities on show that evening.

The ride begins at Lincoln Central train station at 5.30pm and will finish at 6.45pm with a visit to 200 Degrees coffee shop, where cyclists can get a free coffee and cake.

Alison Mackfall, Access Lincoln project co-ordinator, said: “This will be an opportunity to see Lincoln in a different light, with a host of activities going on around the city, including a digital light box parade, digital graffiti and a silent disco.

“Our bike ride is a great way to get a taste of what’s going on and will leave you plenty of time to explore the other events happening in the city that evening.

“And with free coffee and cake on offer, what more can you want!”

Places are limited, so it is essential that you book in advance. To reserve your place, email accesslincoln@lincolnbig.co.uk.
