Gear up for county's first Cycle Fest
Saturday 1st June 2019Doddington Hall
10am – 4pm
Come and join us for a free fun packed day at Doddington Hall, celebrating all things cycling.
Organised by Access Lincoln, NKDC and Giant; Cycle Fest have cycling activities for all the family to try, including a pump bike track, velodrome bike simulators and KMX karts, children’s mountain bike taster sessions, led rides for all the family and a treasure hunt around Skellingthorpe old wood.
There will be have-a-go Giant demonstration bikes, free bike safety checks and bike security marking. There will be food marquees to grab a bite to eat and lots of other entertainment for the family to have a great day out.
Led Bike Rides
There will be two led rides running during the day. Each ride will last approximately 1 hour, leaving Doddington Hall along the new Georgie Twigg track out onto the Fossdyke path towards Harby. At Harby the ride will continue along quiet roads, returning to Doddington Hall via Black Lane.
Riders must be 10 years and over and have a road worthy bike. For those without a bike, a free demo bike can be booked at the Giant store at Doddington Hall in advance of the ride. Please contact Giant Store directly to book this. This ride is aimed at all abilities and no one will be left behind.
Rides take place at 10.30am and 1pm on a first come first served basis. Riders meet at the Start gantry on the event site.
Mountain Bike Taster Sessions
There will also be 3 childrens mountain bike taster sessions delivered on the day at the Doddington Hall mountain bike trail - BOOK NOW.
- Doddington Hall is five miles West of Lincoln on the B1190. If you are using ‘sat nav’, the post- code to enter is LN6 4RU.

- If travelling by car please consider car sharing and follow the Cycle Fest signs for parking on arrival.
