The one-mile Odin Trail cycle loop around Old Wood can be easily accessed from Sustrans Route 64.
Old Wood is a great place for a bike ride with a one-mile cycle trail around the woods to explore. This ancient woodland is owned and managed by the Woodland Trust and is rich in wildlife, including carpets of colourful wildflowers and a variety of butterflies and birds.
Old Wood is located only five miles from Lincoln City Centre and can be easily accessed from Sustrans Route 64 National Cycle Network. Close by bikes can be rented from the hirebike bike station located at Skellingthorpe Community Centre car park - where cars can also park up for free and join the cycle network by bike.
