Burton Waters is a three-mile bike ride from Brayford Pool on a traffic-free cycle route

Travelling to Burton Waters by bike is fun and straightforward. If coming from the city centre it’s only three miles away and will take around 15 minutes on an off-road cycle route. Cyclists can continue along the route to Saxilby.

Burton Waters has a range of eateries for socialising over a quick bite after a fun bike ride or for a sit-down meal. There is also a string of shops to explore, including a deli, gift store, beauty salon, gym and boat dealership all surrounded by a beautiful harbour, perfect for a lovely stroll to take in the sights.

Two hirebike stations can also be found on site near Woodcocks pub and Marina Roundabout if you would prefer to hire a bike to ride to Burton Waters.
